Automatic to manual transmission swap questions.
Ok, I am new here and i have few questions about doing an automatic to manual transmission swap on a 2002 honda accord 3.0L Ex coupe.
I would like to know if the motor is able to take a manual flywheel? also what would i need for the project?
Any help is appreciated!
I believe i have J30A1, i found these links but i am having a bit of trouble understanding.

most just bought the newer model that offered this setup from the factory.
if that first link doesn't get you started, i don't know if you should try tackling this...
the second link applies to 4cyl only. not too similar.
if you have your heart set on doing this instead of sensibly trading up to the newer manual V6 coupe then you will probably need to do a lot of the fact finding yourself.

Mechanically, the manual tranny bolts right up as well as all the other parts.
Electronically, this is where it gets complicated. That is why RichieV6 made the modules to get around the electrical part of it. Richie does not make those modules anymore and finding a used one is Extremely difficult. They rarely come up for sale on V6P or 6thgenaccord.com
It is possible you may be able to do some creative repining. I'm not sure as this is beyond my knowledge base.
