Auto Trans fluid color
Thanks to all who take the time to respond,
I have a ’93 Accord with an auto tranny, I recently had the timing belt and oil seals replaced and the trans serviced. I had all of this work done at the Honda dealer. I just did a fluid level check on my car and noticed that the trans fluid is an amber color much like motor oil, not red like I thought it should be. My question is does the Honda dealer use a different color trans fluid or is something not right here?
Thanks,
Mcdann

Def. call the dealer. But if its been a long time sence you last changed you fluid and it was really dark if they for some reason used Dextron-III then it can look like that. But call the dealer and let them know what you found.
