dammit...when i woke up this morning my tire was completely flat and upon further inspection i noticed a crack about 3/4 an inch, although i am unsure if it is a crack or a stab.




So I tried to put air in the tire and it blew right out the crack, thus I decided I need a new tire and put my temp on.

I do not feel like spending $50+ on a new tire so if any of you have any ideas on fixing it thatd be great. Thanks

unless those are slicks, those bald tires were way overdue

$50 is a lot cheaper than the tire blowing up on the freeway and having an accident

and to answer your question, no there is no way to fix that. a temp fix is for you to do a patch job (which entails removing the tires and putting a patch inside). but doing a patch job costs $15-20 bucks. a few buck more than getting a good used or new tire

wow you need a new set period.. not a brand new one but ... those are gone.. go to a used tire place you could get a pair for around 50$ if you shop around.. when your running on your spare.. DONT SPEED!!! and dont rely on it for a while just drive on it to get your tires.... im guessin if that ones that bacl the other side is just as bad at least change your 2 front tires..

you HAVE to replace it, you cant patch up something on the sidewall, to much stress compared to your tread.

that tire is fubared...

for future reference, a lost seal on tread or by the tire/wheel mating points can be fixed with that fix a flat green goos stuff....works good enough to make a bald tire that wont hold air be able to be drifted on for another 200 miles

That tire's toast. Dead. Finished. Forget fixing any hole at the juction of the tread and sidewall. Also, forget fixing a sidewall pucture or cut.

Time to dig down for some folding money and get a replacement.

you can't patch sidewall damage, period.

i know you stated you dont have much money but you cannot drive on tires like that ever hear of a blowout??? could get you into a serious accident if you are traveling at hwy speeds you could kill someone man ,,,,put some tires and have your car aligned the way the wear on the tire is you need it

tires are the most important part of a car, as they are the only part to make contact with the ground...don't cheap out when it comes to tires...they are a safety concern as much as they are a performance upgrade...

haha alright man i know new tires new tires...i planned to get some wednesday, i was just wondering if anyone had an idea how to patch that untill then but thanks.
