Accord injectors?
Are they peak and hold or saturated?
and if you have spare time could you explain the difference...or point me somewhere that does. Thanks

Re: Accord injectors? (SOHCkordVTEC)
ok, here goes how i remember it:
saturated injectors use voltage (12V) to allow / block fuel flow... pro: injectors remain at a cool temperature b/c of their low current level, thus lasting longer; con: functionality is limited and respond to fuel flow changes slower
peak & hold injectors are powered by a large current (high amperage)... the resistors in the injector respond to the larger current, thus forcing the injector to open more to allow more fuel flow... and when the current drops, the injector closes faster... pro: more dynamic, more applicable for performance driving; con: shorter lifespan...
as far as i know, F22 motors have saturated injectors... hope this helps...
