Default Accord EX Gauge Cluster bulb

Hey, so the bulb on my cluster flickers while driving. The numbers light up, but the cluter is the kind which the blub shines on it so that you can see the needle, but usually when i turn the lights on at night, it doesnt turn on and i end up banging the dash for like a minute before it does. do i need to replace the bulbs or is it something else that needs to be done? also, for the climate control buttons, the part where it has like defrost, aim air towards feet, towards face & feet, etc. are those little buttons supposed to light up because mine dont...
so can i go to autozone and get these bulbs? and if so which bulbs do i need to buy and how many?

thanks!
Andrew

The climate indicator buttons are suppose to light up, you may have a problem with the circuit board or something, as the stock lights are leds. The climate control ***** are lit by regular bulbs though. See these links for photos:

All of the LED stuff is pretty sweet and I'm going to try and do some of it, but what do I do if it does happen to be a short? Like is there anyway I can sit down in my garage and do it?!

Thanks!

You probably do not need to replace the climate indicator leds that are already there. It may be the circuit board, take out the circuit board (following the instructions) and look for any burnt parts, etc. If things look okay, with a soldering iron, touch up the various solder points and see if that might fix the climate indicator lights.

Try replacing the 2 bulbs. The service manual states 1.4w bulbs.

They look like they are #74 mini wedge bulbs.

Here are instruction to remove the gauge cluster, the center console needs to be removed on your 5th gen Accord. (Note: The climate control does not need to be removed to remove the instrument cluster.)
