Default 99 accord starter location please help!!! asap.

Ok im trying to find the starter location in a 99 accord and i just cant see it if anyone can help me im trying to replace the starter for a friend

well if you cant see the starter then you should not even attempt to replace the starter. for sure you will have problems getting the bolts off and finding them also. send it to a shop and have it done.

I've never looked for it, but one cable from the postive terminal should lead to it.

And for something like this, you may consider picking up a Haynes manual for $15, would give you step by step instructions on removing it. The better guide book is the Helms' manual, but that would be about $80. For things like this the Haynes manual will be fine.

I personally recommend staying away from Chilton's repair manual - not as good as Haynes from the time I've had to refer to both (back in the '90s from working on my US cars).

Dude I'm not hating ok just posting some info that's all. You asked a question for a simple task and the starter is right on top in plain view.

actually its not i found it and its located by the transmission you cant see it very well through the top so like i said go bash someone else's thread anyway thanks to everyone who tried to help except for dtapia
