99 Accord coolant Drain Bolt
Can anyone describe where the coolant 'Drain Bolt' is located on the block. The manual appears to be a hex head bolt (13mm). But when I remove the bolt oil comes out rather than coolant. If you know please help. Thanks

Loosen the drain plug on the bottom of the radiator. The coolant will drain through the splash guard. Remove the drain bolt and washer from the engine block.

If it's anything like mine, and I'm sure it is, you can't see it from under the car 'cause the intermediate shaft is in the way and the block has a little like ledge at the bottom that obsures the view of the bolt. It's to the left and up a bit from the oil filter. You just have to feel for it, then fit a socket (I use a shallow socket with ~4 inch extension) on it and pull like a M-Fer until it breaks loose.
