Default 97 accord no start just click

I have try searching around the forum and I can not find the answer. The car will start like early in the morning and after I go to a place and turn the car off and than try to turn it back on it would not start but I do hear a clicking noise. BUT if I start the car with my remote starter instead of the key it will always start no matter what. I have replace the starter, spark plugs, distributor cap, air filter, tested the battery, and i know it cannot be the starter or battery since the car will start just fine if I use my remote starter.
Can anyone help? Sorry forgot to mention it is a 1997 accord lx non vtech i4
One more thing sometimes when I turn off the car and everything I made sure is off like the A/C and stuff, so I turn off the car and remove the key but my car sound like it is still running.

Well the sound your likely hearing is the gear inside your starter that engages the cogs on the flywheel being pushed forward to turn the motor over, however if your starter is bad, such as a flat spot on the commontator or weak springs pushing the brushes it will just click as power can't transfer through the starter, therefore it wont spin.
If that were the case I would say you have a bad starter.
But since you stated it will remote start consistently that can't be the case, try using the point your remote start plugs in and troubleshooting upstream of it for issues, ending with the ignition switch

You have a bad starter. I had the same problem with mine. It happens at random, there is no logic or reason behind it. Get the starter tested.
