Default 97 accord ex 2.2 v4 vtech, a/c problems

I have the 97 accord, and my a/c isn't working. When i turn it on it blows air, but it blows hot air. I checked the heater valve, and that's still working. When i turn the a/c on the radiator and a/c condenser fan do not blow, but they do both come on if my car starts to get hot, they also sometimes turn on when the car is off. I'm out of ideas and need some help please.

you should bring your car to a shop to see if you got a leak in your a/c system and if you dont a recharge wouldnt be a bad idea. also when you press the a/c button does the light turn on? the light indicates the a/c clutch is working.

Another thing you can look at is the ac compressor, see if the ac clutch engages when the ac is turned on. If it doesn't engage it is most likely because of low refrigerant.

If the fan and compressor clutch doesn't engage, the system is super low on pressure and dead. The high pressure line has a pressure switch. When the pressure gets super low, it will trigger the switch causing the compressor and fan not to spin (I'm guessing to prevent causing alot of damage to the compressor). If you try recharging you'll be wasting it since you might have a horrible leak. If the compressor and fan turned on and you have hot air coming out, than a recharge would most def work.

Possible problems:
Bad relays
Bad switch
Very bad leak in the system
Fuse(s)
Electrical connections
Cut wires

The list can go on. Take it to a nice AC shop and have them look at it.
