Automatic I take it.

Change the transmission fluid with some fresh Honda ATF. Think it's 2 bottles? That should help the shifting quite a bit. It probably won't solve the issue, but will definitely be helpful.

I really hate seeing post like this. The purpose of this tech forum is just that, to ask technical questions related to our Hondas.

Funny.

Anyway I'd check the:
1. Kick down cable make sure it just closes the valve and make sure the trottle doesn't move the and the cable takes a 1/8 throttle to start moving(a delay). This cable affects the line pressure going to the transmission and will affect shift quality if its off a lot. Us a 12m wrench.
2. Fluid as mentioned
3. The grounds by the battery. The one on the frame and the one connected to the transmission near the bottom. Because the 4 solenoids are grounded to this wire.

Technically any pump will work as long as you can attach it to the sender unit and as long as the pump supplies enough fuel (flow rate) and the pull on the electrical system matches ( amps). Its not recommended if the pump #s are different but I'm putting a GM pump in a BMW 535i to save $300
