96 accord shifting hard

96 accord shifting hard
i got a 96 accord and it shifts hard when shifting from park to drive any solutions to this problem?????????

Funny.
Anyway I'd check the:
1. Kick down cable make sure it just closes the valve and make sure the trottle doesn't move the and the cable takes a 1/8 throttle to start moving(a delay). This cable affects the line pressure going to the transmission and will affect shift quality if its off a lot. Us a 12m wrench.
2. Fluid as mentioned
3. The grounds by the battery. The one on the frame and the one connected to the transmission near the bottom. Because the 4 solenoids are grounded to this wire.

Technically any pump will work as long as you can attach it to the sender unit and as long as the pump supplies enough fuel (flow rate) and the pull on the electrical system matches ( amps). Its not recommended if the pump #s are different but I'm putting a GM pump in a BMW 535i to save $300
