Re: H2B accord???
Waste of time, money, impractical, AND a B is a weaker tranny (despite the know it alls that will TRY and tell you differently around here)...... only advantageous IF YOURE DOING A CIVIC or TEG H swap to correct the axle alignment... AN H trans is stronger. Period. The ONLY other advantage for a B tranny is that there are more options for internals... However there are options for H trannys too...
Not to mention My 5th gen lude axles (OEM ONLY) have been taking 620-660 whp for over 2 years now in the CD5.... A DIRECT bolt in except you MUST use the Prelude intermidiate shaft as well)... The trannys were breaking before the axles.... LOL
Unless youre making WELL over 450 WHP (350 Plus ft lbs of tq) There is ABSOLUTELY NO need... If you want B series type gearing use a M2F4 trans..... They are available in OBD1 USDM fourth gen Preludes. They have a really short 4th and 5th gear in them

Ask me how I know
:O)
I thought about doing it (as with Over 620 WHP I was breaking a tranny a weekend, total of 13), I looked at it, but it just wasnt worth it (besides I found a forged starightcut gearset that has solved my issues) but its a COMPLETE cluster****, not even worth the time. I had the resources... Its just NOT the best option for an Accord... AT ALL...

Re: H2B accord???
If you are staying NA, and want transmission that helps improve acceleration, buy a H22 tranny like ^^^ said, and stick a Mfactory final drive in it.
