95 Accord Brake Rotors Replacement
Is it true that to replace the rotors on my accord i need to take out the wheel bearings? I read somewhere that i need to but i went to the dealership yesterday and the service manager said that not true.

You can use a special puller to remove hub, rotor, wheel bearing saving you time, or do like myself remove entire front knuckle to make things easier.

this link shows how to do it.
You can do rotor over hub conversion, therefore your next rotor change will be easy as pie.
I've been contemplating getting a spare set of front knuckles from the junkyard and prep them with the necessary hardware, so when the time comes I can just swap out parts

Isn't that 5 lug conversion IIRC?, if so I'll pass, to many pieces to put together and I don't see the benefit for a 145hp car and not to mention pricey.
The acura legend caliper conversion is reasonable, I would consider doing that.

Just get this is ROH conversion kit from TASAuto, do it once and for all, and you'll never have to remove the bearing from the knuckle ever again til service needed for the bearings!

Some but not all. That was my first time hearing about their bearing being defect. I'll still be performing this job when I get the dough.

Honestly, if you have a slide hammer and a ball joint separator (the claw type, pickle forks suck) then pulling the hubs isn't really all that bad. It takes a few good wacks but comes off.

Re: 95 Accord Brake Rotors Replacement
This is what I do when I did my front rotors. Remove the whole knuckle off the car. Find two same diameter and thread pitch size bolts but longer like the four bolts behind the front knuckle, put one across from each other, use an air hammer, and hammer away til the bearing/rotor assembly falls off the knuckle. Then, remove the four bolts in front of the hub/rotor then remove the rotors off and put the new ones on. This will save you time and money.

Re: 95 Accord Brake Rotors Replacement
Great Info Guys. I didnt know about the ROH conversion kit, something to take into consideration just in case i start destroying thing unintentionally. I saw a video in youtube about changing the rotors on accord involving hammers, chisels and grease. I got scared

ROH is the $400 solution that may save your 40 minutes worth of actual work.
Unless your car sees HEAVY road race and autocross use the ROH conversion is a huge waste of money IMO.
The bearings on these cars are cake to remove and they will come out in once piece provided you don’t do anything stupid.
