I drive a 1994 Honda Acccord 4 Door Ex and when I'm accelerating to about 3,000 rpms at low speeds of around 20 mph I hear this really annoying rattling/buzzing/chiming noise underneath the steering column. It sounds like something may be loose

I don't know anyway to fix it because I cant really diagnose the problem cause it only happens when I am driving, if anyone has had this problem, can you suggest a solution ??

thats kinda hard to diagnose when we cant hear the actual noise or whatever---you may want to have a mechanic listen to it

Sometimes **** gets loose and starts to rattle, not very common with honda's but my accord exhibits the same mystery noises and I suspect that's the problem. In my case, I think the rattles eminate from more than one place, one around the dash/steering column, and sometimes the upper windshield. Hopefully someone has explored the issue enough to provide an explanation if this sort of thing is common.

Another possible cause could be your intake (if you have one installed) vibrating against the engine bay if it's situated in such a matter (mine is and makes a noise similar to what you're describing)

As silly as it sounds I had the same problem in my 97...turns out my wrist watch was rattling on my wrist!!! No kidding, I sweated over that for weeks until I solved it. Give it a try.
