94 Accord Instrument Cluster Lights

94 Accord Instrument Cluster Lights
My car is a 94 Accord EX. Last night the lights in the instrument cluster did not come on when I turned on the headlights. It only affects the gauge lights and the lights that dim when the headlights come on. The radio lights and the aftermarket gauge lights display and dim as they should. It seems isolated to the instrument cluster. So I figure one of three things. A fuse, but I doubt those lights are fused separately, the dimmer button on the dash, or the cluster itself. The aftermarket gauges have a wire that attaches to any instrument wire that gets power when the lights come on. They work. The radio dims as is should. So does the clock. Has anyone else had this happen? Looks like I might get to install that JDM cluster that has been sitting on the book case for a couple of years.

Re: 94 Accord Instrument Cluster Lights
I found the problem. It was the dimmer switch next to the cruise control and power top. Since it was the easiest to replace I started there with one I pulled from a wreck at LKQ. The fix was about $2.50 and 3 minutes work total. By the way, LKQ is having a 1/2 price sale on Labor Day, at least where I live. Sort of a candy shop! Place is packed.
