94 Accord hesitation and stalling out after warm up?
I have a 94 Accord LX, and it starts up fine, but after it's warmed up for 20 minutes or so, it runs very rough, hesitation and bucking at take off, and hesitation while driving until it eventually dies out. Sometimes it will start right back up and still run rough then die out again, and other times it will just keep cranking over with no start up. I check the code, and it was getting a code 41, which to my understanding is the primary oxygen sensor heater failure (the one on the manifold?) I bought a universal heated 4 wire O2 sensor and replaced it (which was a bitch to get out and in). Started it up, and again after it warmed up, the same issue came up. I checked the codes again, and this time it gave me 2. The 41 showed up still, but then the EGR code came up. I took a look at the EGR and someone had blocked unplugged it and put a golf tee in the hose to bypass it. I have owned the car for 3-4 years, but it's been sitting in my garage for the past six months, and I am going to be using it as my DD.
I bought it from an older college professor of theology, who bought it new in 94. he was very meticulous about upkeep and saving all the records etc. Any ideas as to what this may be? A buddy of mine said to check the plugs. his prelude was having the same issue, and new plugs took care of it...any help would be much appreciated.
thanks,
Ryan

you will need to unblock the egr for sure that can cause a rough idle and some hesitation around the 2-3.5k rpm range.
replace the o2 sensor with a denso sensor. the borsh/universal units suck
