A new problem arose with my 93 accord LX the other day. The right turn signal stopped working.

Observations:
When I lift the turn signal switch so that it locks in, it makes the clicking noise. It is fast like a bulb is out. But, the right signal light in the dash does not light up, nor do the bulbs.

When I lift the switch half way, so that it does not lock in, but still actuates the switch, the signal works fine, just like it should.

Other notes:
The hazard lights work fine, bulbs all light up as they are supposed to. All fuses are good.

So, I think I've narrowed it down to a faulty Lighting Relay, or the switch in the dash. Obviously, the lighting relay is easier to replace, and I'd rather not tear apart the steering to replace the switch. Any insight to narrow it down to one or the other would be great.

***UPDATE: PROBLEM SOLVED***
I was able to replace the signal switch in the steering column. That fixed the problem. It was easy to replace, the casing around the ignition and switches comes off with about 6 screws. Then turn the wheel 90 degrees to the left and you can see the 2 screws that need to come out to replace the turn signal switch.

Your switch. If the relay was bad it would act up regardless of how you actuate the switch. But the fact that the signals are funky only when you move the switch in a certain way tells me to suspect the switch. You can always test the relay too. Apply 12v and ground to the control terminals, and check for continuity between the circuit terminals.

Shouldn't be too hard if it's anything like the CD5 accords.

I replaced my broken wiper switch and it took me all of 20 minutes. 4 screws under the wheel, and the plastic covering comes off. Then it's a couple of screws and a plug. for the switch.

Don't gotta mess with the wheel at all.

Oh, nice. I thought i'd have to remove the airbag, wheel, etc.

I found some switches on ebay for around $30-40, so I don't feel too bad about it now.

Just so that it is documented: I was able to get the turn signal working properly. It was indeed the switch and not a relay or other electrical problem.

im haveing problems with my 94 accord the parking lights stay on when i turn off my head lights... and i had just put in sum hid's not even a day old and the light bulb blew out.. sum one help???

Did you made sure you have it all the way off when you turned your headlights off? And what light bulb blew out? HID bulbs? You might've short to power a wire or something when installing the HID kit?
