Re: 92 accord stereo removal (onesojourner)
get a haynes manual
ill tell you but its a PITA
you have to remove all the vents, then the screws behind it, then the screws on the top by the gauge cluster, remove all the switches "cruise", hazard, defrost, all that good stuff, screws behind your ashtray, cup holder EVERYWHERE!!! then remove the center console so you can access the screws under the stereo and voila

Re: 92 accord stereo removal (schlit)
exactly, take off the center console, remove the astray and take out the brackets support the ashtray. there, you will see two bolts, either use a philips or a 8mm (i think?) socket to take it out from underneath.

get a 12" extension (1/4 " drive) 8 mm socket and swivell . lay in pass. floor board looking at back of radio . there will be 2, 8 mm bolts . all you have to do is losen them . grab radio and pocket at the same time and pull.
i have been installing stereos for 11 years . never had to pull any dash parts off
