Watch out for Ebay intakes
I ordered a cai intake "with bypass" from prostreetlighting 10-31-05, for 70$ with shipping i thought it was worth a shot. paid the same day, and its still not here. What a cluster phuq, so called few times and mysteriously the " computers were down" ... twice. any how, if your going to buy something from them think twice, powerseller or not.

Ebay is not a garantee transaction. You can't trust anyone over the internet i don't care what anyone says. I just take risks when i buy over the internet hoping ii get my iteam and not have to start stupid *** threads like this. Plus its just been 11 days chilllllllllll might be a problem with the mailing

You ordered something 11 days ago and your are complaing you dont havt it it?
It takes people a few days to make it to the post office.
If they dont ship it, report it to ebay. And didnt you use paypal and pay for the moneyback guanrtee?

You know, Whenever the subject about EBay comes up; I try to temper my remarks with warnings about item quality, speed of service or other such issue. But the short of it?, Ebay is a place where a LOT of people try to move obsolete, out dated and damaged goods while masquarading behind a phony company name. You have to understand this, it's very important.
Conversly, there are a lot on well intentioned people of which the opposite is true selling stuff as well. The trick is finding them, and sticking with them.
My experiences with Ebay purchases have been generally good, though limited. I, personally, won't buy something I haven't directly sampled, held or inspected. So, in that light, I won't buy a "Brand X" CAI off EBay unless I've seen it locally.
With this post, you may have actually hurt yourself. Cuz if 'ProStreetlighting" happens to be a subscriber to H-T, he ain't a "happy Camper" any longer.
In addition, I'm not surprised you haven't been flamed worst that this. This is not the place to expect great upwellings of sympathy. We all understand the game and what to expect.
Give it a few more days, and if still nothing contact EBay or PayPal (if you were fortunate enough to use them)

Re: Watch out for Ebay intakes (P_Adams)
its funny how peoples views on ebay change when someone makes a post saying they didnt actually get what they ordered from Ebay, i do recall half the people in this thread telling me when some guy asked if he should order something off there and i told him to be very careful about it because you can get ripped off, everyone jumped on me "ebay works fine for me they wont rip you off" "i order everything from ebay" "ebay has good quality items!".

I could care less if prostreetlighting is a member of this forum or not, there online business is horribly run and managed. Every time i called they all seemed to have no clue what was going on. Its just bad customer service/business ethics. I know that is what to expect from some shitty ebay company, but i have done many things with ebay before and never once had a problem, period. Im just saying that prostreetlighting is a horrible ebayer, and watch out for their crap! Im looking out for your best interest here!

Well, in that case take your attitude and place it where it will do the most good. On this guys ratings AT EBAY.
People looking to buy from him aren't going to stop and say "Hey, lets take a moment and see whats being said about him over at H-T.Com"
I'm surprised the moderator hasn't locked down this thread yet.
