Default 92 Accord EX No Start Issue

I have a 92 Accord that came to my shop to have the transmission replaced. The car would not start when it was delivered. It would hit like it was trying to fire but wouldn't take off. The battery seemed weak and the owner said that it had ran 3 months prior when he parked it.

I replaced the transmission and had the battery on the charger while doing the work. Hit the key and it started right up. Ran a little rough but started. I shut it off to check the trans fluid and a few min later tried to restart it. It would not start. Battery seemed weak again, but it just cranked and would occasionally make a firing sound but it was weak. I tried to hold the pedal to the floor and it would hit but not fire. I tested the battery and it was bad.

I replaced the battery and still the same issue. I needed to use the lift for another job so I tried to start and gave up and pushed it out. Later that night I was able to get it to start after cranking for about 1min with the accelerator to the floor again. Once it started it ran, a little rough, but it would rev. I backed it into the shop and shut it off. It would not restart again. Pulled plugs and they were wet with fuel. Spark was present but looked weak on all but cyl 3. Cyl 3 was dead on the dist cap. Since then I have checked or replaced about anything I could think of.

New battery
New Cap
New Rotor
New Plugs
New Wires
New Coil
New Distributor
Checked timing marks
Now has strong spark
Fuel pump primes when key is turned on
Still getting wet plugs
180psi compression in each cylinder
Fuel pressure regulator vacuum line is dry
Computer ground at thermostat housing is hooked up (I have not removed to clean it yet).
I have dried out the cylinders and it still gets the plugs wet before it will fire up.

I'm probably leaving some things out and it's not all in order, but just trying to get as much info on here as possible. Any help would be great. I'm getting pretty frustrated. I don't normally go into parts changing mode, but I did on this one because parts were cheap and most were needed anyways. Distributor had rust in it. Coil may have not been needed.

Thanks in advance.
Joe

...sounds eerily similar to the problem im having with my 93 accord... (See: 93 accord
Sputtering) - it's not sputtering anymore...
About the computer ground at thermo housing - what's that about?
I'll be watching this thread...

Would it be possible to hear the fuel pump prime, and get plenty of fuel and still have the main relay be bad?
What about the ECU?

I'm an idiot. I had the firing order wrong. Was calling #1 as #4 and visa versa. Such a rookie mistake.
