Hi guys. just wondering what type of VTEC my honda has and when is it supposed to kick in.

As far as I know (and anyone can correct me if I'm wrong) the Accord didn't feature a VTEC motor until the 1994 Honda Accord EX. The LX & DX dont come with VTEC motors. The F22B1 is the motor that went into the 94 Accord EX and its VTEC function was purposed for fuel economy.

im probably wrong but one of my friends told me that this is the vtec. this is a pic of my car.
