Default '91 accord ex with starting problems

ok so about 1.5 weeks ago i got in my accord, it started fine and i ran an errand. on my way out of my neighborhood my gas light came on. i knew i was low on gas but i figured i had enough to run my errand then come back home, park and head to the gas station the next morning on my way to work.

well when i got back home, i had parked my car kind of on a slight slope. the next morning i got in my car to head to the gas station. when i put my key in and turn it over, it has problems starting and stutters then goes into that clicking sound.

my first thought was "i must be too much on a slope and all the gas is not evenly distributed." so i grab my gas can with gas and dump some gas in it. i get it started and get it on level ground and let it run for a minute. i go inside and come out about 30 minutes later to move the car. when i went to start it, it did the same stutter and clicking sound. so i quit and went back in. came out another 45 minutes later and it starts right up so i move it.

couple days pass and the car has been siting there. i try to start it and learn that i can start it but it takes acouple tries. i'm thinking to myself that it has to be the battery, alternator or starter so i take it to autozone to have them test the battery. the battery test came back "bad" so i bought a new battery

put the new one in and the car starts right up just like hondas always do! i could really tell that there was alot of power when it started so i was like ok cool, its just the battery. i drive it off and everything seems fine. i drive it about 6 or 7 times since i get the new battery in and everytime it started up perfectly.

now that brings us to tonite. friday night i drove it and then parked it on that same slight slope as before. i goto run an errand and this time i put the key in and it doesn't even turn over period. does this sound like a starter or alternator or does it sound like something else? sorry for such a long post but i wanted to paint the full picture so you guys know what i'm dealin with.

Sounds like multiple problems.

Does anything come on when you turn the key to the ON position? Radio, lights, seat belts?

Yeah, when you said nothing, does the headlights even work when you turn it on??? I mean, if it's all working then battery's good; otherwise, problem lies between the battery cable terminals and battery posts.

I had a very similar problem where sometimes I shut the car off and won't be able to get anything back like no power, no nothing and after like what, 10 sec or so past by, power will come back and I'd be able to start the car and go. Turned out to be some gray sh*t between my positive battery post & terminal that had a bad connection.

nothing worked when i first turned the key over. it was as dead as can be. i took one of those jumper cables with the battery attached to it (so you don't have to have another car battery to jump it off) that you plug into the wall and the power light came on but it said it was "faulty". so i left it plugged in for a minute.

after about 30 minutes, i hooked it up to my car battery and when i went to open my car door, my interior started beeping. so i put the key in, turn it over and it tries for a split second (literally) to start. then i get nothing again. not even that interior beep when i open the door.

my next move when i get home from work this evening is to try cleaning off cables/battery terminals and go from there. thanks for everyone's replies! very much appreciated! keep 'em coming hahah

I think parking on the slope and getting no response from the battery are two separate issues. The slope thing happens to me in my 90' Accord when my gas is low, but it always turned over.

Take the battery back to the auto shop and test it/recharge it. If it's good and charged, install it again to see if it turns. If it does, then your alternator could be to blame.
