2.3 Vtec carbon deposit removal
Ok, my '99 Accord EX sedan in Manual has 170,000 on the clock. When I replaced the Denso plugs that I put in it 30k ago they were real worn. The car has started consuming oil at about a qt every 3,000 miles. When I replaced the plugs when I looked with a light down into the cylinders it looked like flakey, black, heavy carbon deposits. I am thinking maybe the pistion rings are stuck with carbon and need to clean out the upper engine.
Should I just suck Seafoam into one intake with one of the vacume lines while the car is running. Or should I pull the new NGK plugs I just put in it and use DEEP CREEP or Marvel Mystery Oil in each of the cylinders as well to help maybe unstick the piston rings?

Mopar Combustion Chamber Cleaner. He's using two cans on a V8, so one can should be enough for your car. The big difference here is that this stuff foams, and Deep Creep doesn't

If you already have a bottle of seafoam, give it a try. That stuff never made any difference in my motors. I've had better results with spraying a mist of hot water into the throttle body.
