5th Gen Accord issue: Front wheels won't rotate properly
Hey guys,
I noticed my Accord won't roll freely while I am driving it. I noticed the if I am on a slight incline, the car would stay stationary, and when I shift gears, you can tell the car is slowing down a little between shifts.
Both front wheels are behaving the same way. While the front wheels are off the ground, when I try to roll them, they will make 2 revolutions and stop. Both wheels kind of make a faint metal-to-metal rubbing sound kind of like when the brake pads are lightly rubbing on the rotor. Again, the metal-to-metal sound is faint.
I took off the calipers and brake pads to see if they were sticking. Again, I tried turning the wheels and they behaved the same way. No difference.
My Accord has ~235K miles and I think the car might have been in a flood during its life. I am wondering if the wheel bearing are bad. There's no play in wheels or any play in the front end though.
What do you guys think? Any ideas?
