Default 4th Gen Accord Headlight Problems.

Is it just me? Or are 4th gen Accord headlights all like this.

To me it seems like my headlights aren't putting out enough LIGHT! I have blue headlights too so this would make it even MORE important to see where i'm going at night. I tried adjusting the headlights, but they don't turn. The only thing that works is the up and down screws, but when i adjust the side to side, the light simply doesn't move. Anyone else have these problems? Please inLIGHTen me.
Thank

well honestly i'd suggest getting some silverstars - cheap and great output, you might notice more of your beam pattern, but even then the 4g doesn't have a very wide beam dispersal, at that point, if you still want more, you might need to invest in some fog lights

First off, get rid of the blue bulbs Get the silverstars You might want to use a bigger phillips screwdriver. I had to while i was adjusting my headlights on my 4th gen... Worked great

I love my silverstars, they are great. one of the best things I have done to the car. I am thinking about doing the 9005 conversion for the low beams soon.

I installed HID lights from a Nissan Maxima. They fit perfectly. They cost $175.00 from a local junkyard.

May sound dumb, but are Silverstars common bulbs? Like could you go to a local store and purchase them? Plus they're hyper whites aren't they?

Yeah blue blubs look good, but the visibility sucks ***...it's just the adjusting from side to side that bothers me...i guess i'll try the bigger driver first. Thanks for all the input guys. Anymore suggestions would help greatly.

you can get the silverstars at autozone, that i'm sure of, and they have the cheapest prices i've seen... checker auto parts, is the only other place i've been that carries them, but checker is overpriced... i don't think o'reily or advanced carries em. in the end you're looking at spending about 30 fo the pair. the 9005 conversion is pretty easy. if you have any other questions about the conversion you can pm me or hit me up on aim.

i have 9005 silverstars in my 4th gen and i still cant see. they work well in my 3rd gen teg, but the accords headlight housings just suck. they are an improvement over stock though.

i saw silverstars at walmart yesterday. they were $35(i think) for the pair as opposed to autozone, $20 each. this is in SoCal, cheese state may be different.

Why not just get an HID conversion if its matters so much?

Silverstars i found for $49.99 a pair including all sizes. That's kinda ridiculous i'd say. But you could gettem' as singles for $24. I just got one and it does help a little bit. This is Checkers price in Milwaukee BTW.
