2000 Honda accord tranny whine
If anyone could help me, I have a 00 accord LX auto tranny. This tranny makes a loud whining noise while in "P" then when I shift the shifter to R or D4/3/2/1, the noise would go away BUT when I start moving. The whining noise starts again. The faster I go the louder it gets.
I just change the tranny fluid to see if it helps but the noise is still there. Does anyone have any input that can help me solve this whining noise?

What kinda fluid you use? Any additives? when u drive n it whines is there power loss? Is D4 light on or blinking when start? did you pay close attention n match how much fluid you took out and put in? How many miles? Any problems starting it? Have you taken off flexplate cover and checked with a wrench that the bolts that mount the tc to plate are tight? Some may say diff but i would start by removing some fluid throw bottle risoline stop slip (not guarantee but seen this work wonders in hondas easier fix the better more time to save for replacement) if no good i would say you have a tc issue replace maybe one of the set of spline thingys are jacked up inside converter or on tranny. Me being crazy i would drive on ramps or jack up (support properly) start car and go to town with a stethoscope(they are cheap) finding out what area of tranny making noise n go from there

I used 2qt of Honda ATF n 1 qt Lucas non slip additive. It only whines while in park n while driving. The car has about 161k miles.
When I drain the fluid, it seem to be a small amount. Not even 1qt.
