OK, here it goes. Im new to this, but not to hondas A good friend of mine has gotten a new-to-her 2000 accord coupe. EX model with the 4 cyl engine. Just after she bought it, the battery was dead. No big deal. Then it started stalling on her while she was driving down the road. She said that if she pushed the gas down, it would sometimes "come out of it" her words. A week or two ago, the car got to the point where it stalled 4 times in a matter of a few miles. She parked it and did not drive it. She brought it into work for me to "look at" the other day. Ran for a few seconds then quit and now will turn over, but wont start at all. Initially did not hear the fuel pump priming. Replaced the fuel pump, still no start. Can hear the pump priming now, every time. Checked this morning and did not see spark arching across from the plug wires to the distributor cap, where it plugs in at. I feel bad about this because she bought the car at my recommendation and it has been problematic since she got it. The car has 150k on it, but I know that if we could get this problem diagnosed and fixed, it would run much longer. Any suggestions as to what this could be. And just in case, no I cant get it to a tech, as it wont run, and she doesnt have much money so she cant afford to have it towed and fixed at a shop. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks, Aric
