2000 Accord (4cyl) Stalls at idle
I got alot of helpful information from this site. Here was my issue.
I have 2000 Accord, about 117K miles, and recently its been the hottest its been outside in my area. I'd start the car and id shake a little rougher than normal the RPM's would dip below 1000 then dip below 500 and stall out....more frequently after being driven then shut off and left for 15 - 20 mins...the hotter it is outside the harder it is to start...I read it can be anything from "heat soak" to a bad Idle Air Control valve or a bad PCM.
Well,
Just got back from the mechanic who gave me a "major" tune up and replaced the fuel pressure regulator and worked fine for the day, but noticed today the CEL is back and it stalled again in case anyone was going to get the same repair done, be fore-warned it might be a combination of problems.
Does anyone have the same issue?

Re: 2000 Accord (4cyl) Stalls at idle
So 2nd trip to the shop and car dies at mechanic (500$ from Fridau out the window already)...at least now they see what the problem Ive been having is....granted it was hot out so I know the heat is playing a factor with my issues. mechanic jumped out the relay to the fuel pump (debating if its the pump or the relay) and it started....so he's switching out the relay today with a new one...Fingers crossed but I have a bad feeling I'm going to have this issue whenever its really freekin hot out...could be ignition coil any insight?
