When I accelerate hard, when the rpm's reach 4000, the motor shudders like a rev limiter. It won't go to 5000 and then shift. The oil level is fine, I had it tuned up with all new plugs/cap/rotor/wires and it's been running great. The check engine code show that the Cat Converter is 'broke" but the O2 sensors are reading good. Weird huh? any direction would be helpful.

try reseting ur ecm, might help

pull fuse # 13 on the passenger side fuses by the door. I believe that works so you don't have to disconnect your battery. well it did for me any way. left it out for 10 seconds or so and put it back in. also cleared the check engine light.
