1999 Accord Clutch Slave Cylinder white plastic cap and ties
Hi,
Do I need to cut the plastic ties after installation? I believe the plastic caps stays since it was on the old one I removed. [IMG][/IMG]

Re: 1999 Accord Clutch Slave Cylinder white plastic cap and ties (ZMan3000)
I do not remember mine having that plastic cap. Mine was just a metal ball at the end. That Cylinder seem to be in the compressed form and not the extended form as it would be when you push the clutch down. With this, I think you would need to cut the plastic tie for it to be able to extend. Maybe the tie is on it so that the extending arm doesnt move freely get damaged through packaging and shipping to the store. Take off the cap and see if there is a ball on the end. I do not think you need the cap unless that particular slave cylinder model is designed to work with the cap.
