1998 Accord EX 5spd, 2.3l vtec, clutch questions
Hello and Thanks, going to cut right to it!
Im into replacing the clutch, flywheel, pressure plate, throw out bearing... my first car clutch replacement.
--all new parts I got look like what i took off the car
--I got a exedy clutch kit, and a sachs flywheel. seems the pilot bushing that came with the clutch kit fits loose into the flywheel? it that normal? its sloppy, not just spinning freely, but wiggles side to side.
--The grease that came with the clutch kit, That is for the tranny splines where the clutch plate slides over correct?(directions call for a high melting point grease)
--should i grease the throw out bearing? if so with what?
--when i get the correct pilot bushing, should i grease that?
other than that, disassembly when really smooth! Thanks for all the information this site provides!
