Default 1997 accord A/C problems

my A/C clutch does not click in when i turn the a/c button on in the car. i have a test light so i checked for power/ground at the a/c compressor, which in this case is the ground side, and i got nothing at all at the a/c clutch connector. So i checked the relay and i got power coming into the relay and coming out, but no ground coming out of the relay to the a/c clutch which grounds itself on the housing... i switched the relay and still nothing, also my condensor fan doesn't come on either when i turn the a/c on. I know the a/c compressor works and the condensor fan works because i hot wired both of them to see if they worked at all and they both do. What should I do next? Should i replace the A/C pressure switch because it's telling the PCM there's too low of a charge in the system or what? If you've had the problem before and fixed it just let me know!! thx!

You probably have a leak. The ac system is a sealed system. If it runs out of refrigerant then it leaked out. The ac system doesn't "run out" of refrigerant like some say. If you remove the pressure switch you are going to release any pressure left in the system and introduce air into the system.

At that point you will have to have the system evacuated and properly re charged and oiled to properly cool and run.

the ac switch will provide continuity across the pins if there is enough pressure in the system and not too much...if you don't get continuity then you either have too much or not enough refrigerant....normally this is not enough

if you get continuity then you need to get a set of manifold gauges and take some readings..if you don't then you need to add refrigerant and leak detector and check for leaks as well as for readings
