1995 Honda Accord VTec - Help
Hi everyone, I'm having a few difficulties and need some help. I just replaced the fuel pump and the car never ran since, the mechanic said it could be the crankshaft sensor, however I had the car diagnosed and two codes came up.
P1361 and P1381.. the first one says it's the TDS and the second is the CYP which online indicated the Cylinder Position Sensor. After my research online it indicates that the CYP is actually located in the distributor itself. I can't find anything on the TDS sensor. I guess my question is do I need to replace both? I just want the car to run. I replaced the fuel pump and then the engine light came on and never worked again. I would try and give gas and it wouldn't accelerate over 2rpm's.. and then shut off.. I had no idea what it was, I finally got it diagnosed and these two codes came up. I just need some advice because I don't want to keep paying for something that isn't going to fix it. I appreciate all and everyone's help. Thank you.

Is it a TPS? Throttle position sensor you're referring to? My research shows your first code to be a top dead center sensor code. You will need to locate it and check to see if the connection is alright and or possibly replace the sensor. The second code you listed is a cylinder position sensor code. Locate and diagnose both sensors. Odd that they're both having issues. May be related to wiring issue or something else.

Check your distributor, make sure it is plugged in all the way. The sensor youre concerned with is inside it. If you had access to another distributor to try it? That might help.
