1995 Accord door locks...
Hi there, what sounded like my rear passenger door lock actuator started buzzing around November of last year when I would lock the car. Sometime in early January the minor buzzing turned into non-stop "eeeeehhhh" noise when I tried to lock the car. A quick google pointed to the actuator so I just pulled the fuse at the time and added it to my "to-do list."
The car was stolen in mid/late February and recovered. Long story short, I've been replacing stolen parts and fixing the few things that needed fixing, namely a valve cover gasket leak, a leaking radiator and now, the actuator. I must say, replacing the radiator was a PITA, pulling the front bumper also seemed like overkill to change a cracked headlight...but I guess that build quality is why these 20yr old Honda's still feel solid. After I'm done, I'm selling the car.
I bought a an entire lock/actuator mechanism at a u-pull it salvage yard for $10. Installed it (along with a drivers interior door handle that was stolen), popped the door lock fuse back in and was expecting it to work. Now, it sounds like every single door lock is making noise when I try to lock the car with the key (using both driver and passenger key holes). The locks lock, but don't stop making the noise. I made a small
(excuse the whining dog) of the locks in action.
Is there an easy fix? Is there a relay or master controller? Is it possible that every door lock actuator is bad?

But doesn't it seem odd that EVERY door lock is doing that now? What are the chances that EVERY lock has a problem all at once? As I posted in my first post, is there a master controller?
