1994 honda accord not getting fuel
Today my 1994 honda accord 4 cylinder ex had trouble starting but when I gave it gas it started but then ran very sluggish like it was not getting fuel as I pushed the accelerator. What are possible causes for this?

Re: 1994 honda accord not getting fuel
Check general condition of the engine.
Check fuel pressure, if it is low determine if it is from a faulty regulator, a clogged filter, or a fuel pump issue.
Check for any stored codes, just because the CEL/D4 to not light does not mean there is not a code in memory.
Behind the glovebox door, pull down the blue two wire connector, jumper it, turn the ignition to II(ON) and observe any codes from the CEL lamp.
Make sure your CEL lamp comes on when the key is normally turned to II(ON). If it does not light then you will need to replace the lamp prior to pulling codes.

It may be the throttle position sensor which I will check. Probably also need to trouble shoot main relay, fuel pressure. It seems to be electrical...yesterday I couldn't even get it to turn over but then it finally fired.
