1992 honda accord needs a new motor
First off I just want to say I searched but there was still open ended questions that weren't answered.
I need to swap a new motor in my cousins car which is a 92 accord SE and it currently has a f22a6 but its so hard to find a a6 so after researching to see what other options fit in the accord and f22b came up but says im goinna need to run the f22 exhaust manifold.. Is that all? Do I use the f22a6 intake manifold or the f23b??.. Any other info would be appreciated.. Thanks in advance.

Is it not possible to rebuild the A6? In terms of the F22B, you should use the one that came with that engine. I don't know off the top of my hand all the interchangeability, but they should mostly be compatible. I think. While you're at it, H22 Swap? lol

I dont want to deal with the a6 not being able to be rebuilt after I take it all apart since the head has been resurfaced already in the past.. Especially that they ran the car hott for who knows how long that the headgasket is pretty bad.. Motor has 300xxx miles.. Would rather throw in a motor with lower miles and less ifs ands or buts.. The car is a daily for my little cousin so h22 would be over kill
