Warm up the engine til the fan comes on at least once, or the temp gauge reads at normal operating temp. Turn off engine.
Pull down the two wire blue connector by the passenger side kick panel, jumper it.
Restart engine.
Pull the plug out of the bellhousing, and with a timing light check where the ignition timing is.
White mark is TDC.
Red mark is base ignition timing.
If your timing is not set to the red mark then your base ignition timing is incorrect and you will need to adjust.
