1992 Accord has no power/ won't start.
Hi guys, I have a 1992 Honda Accord that won't start. When I tried to start the car smoke started coming out under the hood so I turned it off right away. I pop the hood open then tried to start it again and my son said he notice a spark. I then tried to start it again a 3rd time and this time nothing happens at all. The dashboard lights are off and so is the radio. The headlights and horn still works though. I used a jumper cable to the battery from the tow truck and still nothing. When you turn the key to on to start it makes no sound. I checked all the fuses under the dash and under the hood and everything is ok. Sorry for a long post but I just want to get an idea what the problem is before I have it towed to a mechanic. If the main relay is bad will it stop power to the whole car?

Smoke came out from under the hood? That's never a good thing. Check your wiring, and the grounds. Make sure your terminals are clean and tight.
