Been dealing with this recently...full tune up done, new o2 sensor etc. It feels like there is a bit of drag on the car while it is rolling in neutral. And in gear (manual tranny) it feels like the car is working a bit harder than I remember it being, almost like the a/c is on...but ive checked the a/c pulley and it spins freely. The brakes arent dragging and the alignment is fair on the highway. Could it be the alignment is slightly off? would this be enough to cause this? thank you for the your input.

You've pretty much touched all the bases already.

No, the alignment would have to be sooooo far out of whack that it would make all manner of strange noises, let alone wear your tires like school erasers.

I'd find a slight grade in the Toronto area and see how easily it rolls downhill.
Honda utilizes low/no drag disc brakes, and if your accords like mine it actually accelerates rolling downhill!

The rear brakes are not dragging either, right?*

when did you notice this, did you do anything to the car. replaced your brakes, replaced your master cylinder, brake booster? need more info

The car seems to pick up speed on a slight grade, and it rolls fine to from a dead stop, even on almost level grade. It just feels like its almost a bit heavier or something its hard to explain...something is not rolling as smooth or causing a bit of friction.

I dont believe it to be an engine problem, because with the clutch disengaged it feels the same.

I have changed the o2 sensor to new, adjust the clutch freeplay to eliminate a bit of play, replaced my power steering pulley and alternator belts. replaced the rear brakes. This problem though seems to have started before any of this.

Verified just now that the passenger side rear caliper is dragging ever so slightly...not enough that I think it would cause such a scenario...but who knows...will continue to investigate.

Could it be wheel bearings or axles? Even though im not getting any weird or odd noises?

Have you checked you wheel barrings??? And made sure your suspension is at the same height all the way around if you have adjusted it before.
To test for bad barrings when driving turn a corner and if you hear a howl or a slight roar its barrings.

Short of futzing around with the ignition's base timing, (going 'way' retarded (I can say retarded, right?)) there's nothing that you could have effected (Doing the Tune-up). The ignition and fuel curves are determined by the ECM.
I'd take a pass at inspecting all the vacume hoses to make sure something hasn't come adrift.
At this point I might even suggest having the Butt Dyno recalibrated.

Go for a drive after many hours of cool down period, do not use the brakes at all on an early morning drive around the block a few times or late at night would probably fit your schedule, let it roll to its final stop, put it in gear, shut if off and touch each of the brake rotors and drums with your finger and see if one or more of them is warmer than the others, problem found. If no issue there then tire pressure check is in order.

Havent noticed any strange noises from the wheel bearings or axles,etc. however stranger things have happened...maybe one is on the way out...

Yes, you can say retarded in that context...haha!

Ill be sure to check the brake hotness...and the psi is in check as well. Might have to recalibrate the butt dyno! it is an old car so maybe its just age! who knows...might just figure to live with it. Will report back..thanks again all.

Well, after inspecting the rear brakes, it seems that the driver rear caliper was sticking ever so slightly. Not enough that I thought it would have an effect.( for example, if i spun the wheel, it would spin for maybe 1-2 seconds...where the other rear wheel would spin for a good 5 seconds. So I took the caliper apart and screwed in the caliper in its bore and it seems to be better. Also, I have a feeling that my alignment is out a tad. I quickly checked it with some string, and the distance between the string and tire is about 5mm on the driver, and 2mm on the passenger...so an alignment may be in check...although the car tracks relatively well. I seem to have my power and drivability mostly back...damn caliper thanks again all
