Re: 1990 accord Help
im thinking something with the fuel lines or pump. maybe a leak? i had a friend that had to crank his engine for a while because the fuel would run back down the line after it sat a while because the pump wasnt keeping the line closed.
thats my best guess, i hope it helps!

I put a new fuel pump on a week ago ...still does the same thing.... But have had a smell of gas sometimes while car is at idle , maybe it is leaking off ...what would the main relay do?

Hi, the main relay operates the fuel pump. your best bet is to take out the main relay out and open it. using a magnifying glass look out for any hair line crack in the solder, if any crack found, resolder it. your main relay should work fine. the relay is located below the dashboard, driver's side. It's a fairly easy job to do. Good luck.
