Default 1988 Accord Carb A20A

Start my car and it Idles at 2500 for about 2 mins. then the idle increases and when i push the gas the idle drops down to 100 rpm and the car dies. Just wondering if you could help me out and tell me what I can do to fix it. This has happened before but the car just fixed itself i guess. This started happening this time when I was parking put parking break on forgot to TAKE CAR OUT OF GEAR, released the clutch and killed it. That is when it started doing this again.

I just got rid of my carb 1986 and had a similar problem
The car would not shut off after I turned it off, kept rumbling
Also had the same problem with the hard idle
Guess what you need a new carburator.

I decided to junk the car instead a new honda carb is $700.
