2000 Accord LX - Sudden shudder when accelerating
Hey Guys,
New to this forum, but have driven Honda's all my driving life, nearly 20 years. I'm not very technical with cars but wanted to see if anyone out there had some suggestions for a strange problem I'm having.
My 2000 Accord had the engine replaced about a year ago, ever since, when I accelerate briskly, (merging onto the highway, passing, etc.) the car shakes like it was put into the wrong gear (automatic), and will continue this way until I back off on the gas of course.
I realize this could be a multitude of things, but any assistance on where I can start to begin diagnosing this problem? Brought this back to the mechanic several times, he says he's not sure what the problem is, think he tried replacing a fuel sensor, but that was a while ago and I've given up on him since.
Any help would be appreciated greatly!
