That can be common if the motor has been sitting for a while, and can boost after it's been running and oil has properly circulated again. Have you had the engine running before it was sitting? I can't remember... Are they consistent and low or just all over the place?

So disappointed

The block has never seen operation. The numbers were 1:140, 2:110, 3:40, 4:didn't even bother with it after 3

Gonna try re-seating the head one more time, but already have a part out ad going on CL to see who wants what --> Built 90 Civic Sedan -- PART OUT!!!

I'm just done wrenching. That part of my life is over and I think I've finally accepted that. I plan to find an old EX CB5/7 in good shape with a 5-speed and just restore/drive it. Simple enough that I can fix anything that may come up, factory reliability, and cheap to own/maintain. If I want to go fast in the future, I'll just buy a fast car

If you can afford to, maybe just get someone else to get it running? Might be worth just forking out the cost if it allows you to start enjoying it again.

CB's are really great cars though.

So we left Houston on 9/20 and I took delivery of the sedan last night. It was delivered with a McLaren and a Healey on board. Here's a pic of it finally resting in the garage. No more storage unit for my buddy

If anybody is looking for some parts, check my Craigslist Ad. Granted, shipping may kill anything for you guys but I figured I'd give you all the option. It was sad taking her apart for the last time

lol, I have a feeling the shell won't go anywhere very quickly and am contemplating dropping a single cam in it. Guess I'll just have to see how the part out goes.

That's right. There's an 88-91 CRX workshop manual, and a 90-91 VTEC supplement but no specific wagon/sedan/hatch manuals.
