Re: The Official EF Discussion Thread
mn weather is looking up....
been so busy trying to setup the new shop that haven't had time to even dust off the EF. Not sure if i'll even be tracking it as much since other car priorities/car shop/client cars will have to come before my own.

Re: The Official EF Discussion Thread
Busy weekend -
Pulled moldings, got rid of a dent in one, broke about half the clips.
Pulled my mirrors and painted them black (they had a bad body color paint job).
Pulled the driver side window scraper/molding which was cracked/peeling and hit it with some plastidip. I do have new ones, but waiting until I either repaint or get the paint cleaned up.
Rotated tires.
General cleanup.
I'll post some pics later. I have a question though. All my moldings are actually in pretty good condition, but the driver door had a ding and is actually dried and cracking a bit. Debating either hitting it with plastidip or trim paint, BUT I'd have to do all so they match. So not sure which would be a better option.
I think the plastidip will fill the cracking better, but it'd end up giving all of of the moldings a textured look.

^Mothers back to black. Project Car Magazine had a way to restore trim also, may be an option. Pretty sure it had the Red CRX on the cover.

I thought the back to black is just to bring back the shine and get rid of oxidation? Mine are really clean, it's just the cracking on the driver side door piece. Where the car sat before I bought it, it was mostly shaded, except for the driver door, lol.

Grass Roots Motor sports car actually. It's pretty. won the 2009 challenge. I'll never forget that night we shot it... we used my old work. We were there till like 2am and I had to work at 5am the next day. It was awful! but TOTALLY worth it!

yes, had to cut a lot of webbing to make it fit. I modded the **** out of my RBC, milled 5 degrees into flange so it sits like 2" lower. Clears hood this way.

I forget how much work went into this stupid car. After you finish it and able be able to enjoy it, all that struggle seems to fade away.
