Let me tell you about the last week I have had with my car... Last Sunday (9/20) I drove it 2 miles from my house on the rear skinnies like a dumbass. Going around a corner at 70mph and the rear end came around on me. I became a pro drifter at that point haha. Busted the car all up by hitting some signs, luckily I didn't flip the car as it would've been a lot worse

I was then challeneged on Tuesday by a buddy of mine to not only get the car back together in some capacity, but to go drag racing with it this past Sunday (9/27). Challenge accepted!! So I went out and picked up a 99 db7 for parts, just a heads up rear windows for the DB's are insanely expensive. I was quoted $900 and $1100 from local glass companies and they weren't even able to get the glass. Bought this bad boy for $500 running and driving, hit in front end.

First things first, get the glass out and back in. That was really the only thing I needed done to the car in order to go racing.

Now that I had that completed, it was time to go racing and make fun of myself along the way.

I wasn't able to get the car to run a faster ET, but I did get it to go a whole lot faster MPH wise. I short shifted 2nd and 3rd on this pass badly. With a little more seat time, this car should go 10.30's or so

Last night my buddy came over to give me a hand getting the new 1/4 panel out. I am going to start fixing the body in November as I plan on racing at a couple local test and tunes mid October

Geez where do you guys find these parts cars? Out in So.Cal you'll get yourself a rolling shell with missing interior and body panels for $500. You'll be lucky to get windshields intact too. Awesome find.

Regarding your rear glass: Rear glass is always an arm and a leg. raverx3m supposedly found a glass company who located and delivered a used rear wiwndshield for around $200. I still call ducktales on that but without proof I can only speculate.

Also, is there a way to make the DB ITR window switches work in a USDM DB? I know in my old DB I did a write up on how to switch around the wiring in the plug to make the "Auto" switch work the USDM driver window. If I remember correctly, the USDM switch assembly will not bolt/screw up to the JDM switch plate. Maybe I was behind the times and did not do enough researching. Any thing on this?

Thanks in advance guys!
As far as the window switch goes, I actually got it to work and not sure if I bolted up or glued the plate onto to usdm window switch, but it sits low.

So since I am rolling around on my buddies RSZ-R's until I find wheels, I have been running through VARIOUS options of what I would like to do wheel wise. I am on a budget with a 9mo old son so I do not have the option of buying $800++++ wheels just for an around town DD.

I did run across a set of 17" Axis Seven/Se7en wheels on a local forum for $350 w/o tires. On my old DB I ran a set of 17x7.5 Work XD-9's and really liked the look of the 17" wheel on the DB's. I know for SURE I want something larger than a 15" wheel but I am just not sure about these wheels on my silver DB...I know they are a throw back wheel that was big back in 98-00 at car shows and I can remember seeing them at car shows back in the day. That nostalgia part of the wheel is what is drawing me in their direction along with the price tag of them.

What would the opinion be from you guys on these wheels on a "modern day" DB?

Pic for ref:

TIA guys!

I wouldn't do Se7ens on a DB unless it were 15 years ago, my car was painted Baby Blue, and I had my interior re-done in white with blue inserts.

But you're more than welcome to try and change my opinion about them. The wheel isn't bad at all, just doesn't do well on a DB IMO.

17's are a good look , Makes the car look shorter and not as long .. Now 18's on the other hand would just be too large..

I think they fit well..

Yeah it's still the same man. I haven't raced a whole lot this year, opened a gym and have twins on the way. Life just kind of found a way to get in the way of having fun haha. It's ok though, I am going to race more next year for sure.

17's do fit well on DB's. I dont think there was any question about that.

Se7ens (made by Axis) dont complement the DB well IMO....

Unless it was on a DB setup like this one....15 years ago.

How are 16x8 +25 wheels going to fit on a DB? I'm going to be just a little lower than stock to rid the 4x4 look but nothing stupid slammed. Is there a way to have a "proper" look with that wheel size and offset to drive around town without camber &/or fender rolling issues? What's an ideal tire size for that setup?

Sorry, I've always ran "standard" size wheels and offsets.

TIA guys!

I need some help from you guys... I have a 2000 integra gsr sedan, the exhaust pipe recently rusted and broke off.

I'll need a new muffler and i believe its the b pipe. I need the pipe that goes from the cat on back.

the current set up is header, test pipe, and the stock pipping and muffler.

I was thinking about getting a after market exhaust but I don't see many companies making it for a 2000 gsr sedan. So I thought I would just replace the pipping and muffler with oem parts.

any suggestions on where I can source the parts for fairly decent price online ?

What's fairly decent to you? How much do you want to spend? Why cant you just repair the section that broke off?

I was looking to spend under 300 if possible 400 max. I completely messed up the flanges that connects the pipe to the muffler.

I priced the b pipe and a muffler from one of the online parts site the cheapest I found was about 350ish shipped.

You can use any B-Pipe for a 94-01 Integra or 92-95 Civic coupe if you need to replace the whole thing. You dont need to only look for a Sedan specific piece. Exactly how much broke off from your exhaust? If you need a muffler as well, you're better off just purchasing a full exhaust for your car. Junkyards would probably be the cheapest if you dont find a local seller.

Regarding the front USDM ITR lips.. The best company I've seen that has the mold and best fitment is ABS dynamics.. Pretty spot on. Not expensive either. Best replica USDM lip I've seen..

Found them both and bookmarked.

Next question: 4dr window visors...outside of PasswordJDM, who else is a source? PWD is $289 + $75 shipping to me. I know they can be found for cheaper than that!
