I haven't seen an m3 style trunk lip that ever matched up decent to a DB trunk lid.

That Black Widow 2 style wing on that Prelude wont look good on a DB unless it rocked a full kit of some sort. The spoiler is just too big for your car "as-is".

Reassurance always feels good. With how many times Harv and Selvyn are told they have beautiful cars I bet it still makes them feel good.

I think after a season or two of racing I'm going to tear it back down and repaint it with some gnarly aero mods.

Yessir. Bought this for 100% road course intentions. Roll cage should be going in in February. Aero will come after a few sessions to see how the car handles.

That means you are going to need to meet me at Inde a few times. Speaking of which, we have a private track day setup on March 28th if you're interested

So i need to order a new weather strip for the trunk. Other than the rubber what else should i buy with it? plugs, caps ? The leak is driving me crazy now. And yes i have replaced the light gaskets.

LOL... Hey, I made it to our very first one... the most recent one was bad timing at the last minute. My uncle passed away 3 days before in Texas and had to fly out since no one else in the family could leave on short notice.

RIP 94db8R... Sad to hear about people losing their lives in car accidents.

I'm not sure water can leak through any other way in a sedan. Nothing else I would suggest besides the weatherstrip and the tail light gaskets.

Try to leave your trunk open on a sunny day first. Then get something called Sil-Glyde or Shin-etsu grease and rub it into the rubber sealing section. wipe off the residue and let it kind of sit for 20 mins before closing the trunk lid. Thats how I usually revive my gaskets

Yea, don't know the complete story of the fatal accident but it wasn't in his DB... His crew DSK (DownShiftKlick) is debuting his DB with his new turbo setup @ IFO Bakersfield this Feb.15th.. Gonna try to make it.

BTW them RTA bushings are super shot!! I'm sure your car feels, handles, and sounds better too..
