Question: Did you use a different intake manifold in order to close the hood? I'm still new to the J-swap scene...
The car was originally manual but I backwards converted it to auto so I could do this unique swap. Doing a 6 spd J swap the transmissions are hard to source, where as the local junkyard has like 6 auto trans that have been there for a while so the owner who is close friend of mine said if I ever need one he will basically give it away to me lol. In the pictures I am running the Hasport egj2 mounts in the lower position, which on a stock ITR suspension sets my oil pan and trans about 2.75 inches from the ground, needless to say I have kissed the asphalt numerous times on a daily basis. The manifold is stock, just sacrifice ground clearance. Since this picture has been taken I have notched and boxed my frame rail and raised the motor up onto the higher setting on the egj2 mounts, much better clearance, but did have to cut my hood, but after scraping on a daily basis I am ok with cutting the JDM ITR carbon hood lol. Thanks for all your kind words!

meh, thats just like your opinion man, until you actually drive one/ride in it, you'll never really get it, and for future reference, this is much faster than a stock k20 in a eg hatch....tested that one several times, from a dead stop, a roll, he couldn't keep up, and he is an experience driver.

The j32 might get whooped by a k20 in a DC/DB, but throw that k20 into a UA6 and its probably going to yield the same impression as the j swapped Integra.

Still, Phat4Door deserves all the props and praise for his work and efforts. To be able to integrate all the components he has into a DB and be functional is absolutely impressive.
Thank you as well for your kind words, lots of time, money, sweat , and tears into the building of my v6 **** (its a **** because it has parts from CL, TL, EK, AP2, Fit, Odyssey, Pilot, etc) but let them think the car can't keep up, sucks for them when they get surprised, which is fine by me

thanks, took many years, and countless dollars to collect all the ITR parts and get the J swap in!

So I got around to finding the leak. It happens to be the trunk rubber seal. Called acura, but part is discontinued. Have an idea where I can purchase a new seal? Thanks

Uhh no it's not. My friend Ben's car from 2009. J32 type S with 6 speed manual. Was repeatedly raped by a basic k20 in an Ek hatch and a basic k24 in a DC. Car was very unimpressive as far as power goes. So yeah, not an opinion. I've ridden and driven it.

Find one at a junkyard thats in better condition than yours?

Or run a hair dryer across your original one if it is still intact . Let it plump up and then cool down. Run a light amount of shin-etsu grease or sil-glyde along the length of the gasket.

Hey guys! Found what I believe is the "rear bracket" needed for the JDM arm rest delete. If it is, and you are interested in it, shoot me a PM and I'll ship it your way. No need to pay for or cover postage as it should fit in a regular envelope. First one to get in touch with me can have it for free!

Picture to follow...

This my friend is a crap ton of work and effort. Props to u!! I bet this thing is fun as hell to drive. Badass build bro! I'm not sure how the j32 compares to the j35...but my cousin has an 09 accord coupe j35 6spd.. And my buddy has an 08 tl type s j35 6sdp.. both with basic bolt ons.. And both those cars impress the hell out of me. Soo much torque and power.. I've sat in the passenger seat and witnessed my cousin's accord raping cars it shouldn't be raping.. Its insane... If the j32 is anything like the j35 then this dB should pull really good as well... Good job

people need to stop whining about the weight/ number of cylinders weight of the car.
all the options are available to everyone who chooses a certain combination of car/engine.
nobody forces you to pick heavier engine or an engine with less cylinders...

I hear people cry all the time but this guy has a v8
and then v8 people constantly whining. but this Honda weighs only half of my car.
ok so take your v8 and put it in a Honda...
or find a light weight v8 motor or a 5 liter 4 cylinder engine and its all good...

the argument is really a fail no matter how you look at it from either side

I personally would enjoy driving a j series or k series or even b16 all for different reasons.

i really miss driving my car. i sold it 4 years ago or so, bought it back in May this year, drove it home, and that is where it has been sitting ever since i started my restoration. hopefully get some drive time next year with a good winter of wrenching.

on the plus side, my wife said if i ever get the idea to sell it again she will kill me lol

LOL.... Leave it to Brice to pinpoint something like that in a picture.

I dont think its on though. Might just be the result of a photoshop adjustment made on the picture?
