I'm going to pull the fuse to confirm later today.
Well dang...any updates?
If u pulled the abs fuse and it still does it, then its a hardware issue u might have missed/overlooked. OR could be air in the abs pump?? Im just guessing..i never had problems with my abs before i got rid of it.

Yeah I wish I could give you an update but it hasn't been having the problem since the 22nd, so pulling the fuse wouldn't be able to show how it affects the problem if it's not happening. It's very weird and annoying, but I'm not complaining lol, I still wanna know what's going on haha.

I'm on the fence about getting rid of the system since it's a street car but sounds appealing in the sense it's less stuff to go wrong

Hey folks, what's the black box in between my two rear speakers? It's marked TDK and mounted under the rear deck. I'm assuming it's part of the rear window antenna or some type of crossover. My car is a 99-00 Civic LX. Shoulda got a pic.

no, the antenna is in in your rear window on top look at the lines horizontal "defrost" and vertical "antenna" the little black box "TDX" is for "acoustic" in your rear speakers. you should have two boxes one for defrost and the other is "acoustic" you can disconnect that if you have an aftermarket deck. if you have the stock one i would just leave it. good luck man.

i have a spoon n1 that was likely for a dc2 that has been adapted for my sedan. still a direct bolt on piece. sits absolutely perfect on my sedan

any interest on it? not really sure on price. i know it wont fetch a ton of money because its been adapted, but its a real first gen and in good shape

That's a nice piece though. I'd snap it up and put it aside for the coupe if I didn't already have a plan for it.

Btw got the mirror bases safe and sound yesterday, thanks again bud.

what would be the only hitch honestly. if i can find a box in my parts dept that it will fit in. that would help. im pulling it this weekend. ill look for a box and get back with you. brand new they are just under $500 + shipping.

my thought is to try and get around $200 + shipping. probably about $50 to ship. so $250 for the axleback.

does that sound about right or too much?

1618 mile road trip complete. Still have a completely random CEL for too lean and fuel trim which is the same problem but my code reader is lame. Going OEM header next weekend but all in all I think she is done till spring. Thanks for the love. I'll snap a picture of what it looks like after the high way action. It ain't pretty. It's probably the dirtiest it's been since I've had it.

Nice. I miss road tripping in mine, we always take my girl's TDI now because you just can't argue with 50mpg.

Finally my sloppy old shift linkage this morning:

Had to go back and dig out and clean up my welds, didn't realize I was o out of practice.
