what about when you go to register the car at the DMV. Doesnt it show up on the price that the car was sold at on the pink slip? Should i bullshit that or just dont even register it at all and just sell the car that way.

Don't rely on this advice, but the number of cars you sell probably is less important than for what reason you have done the buying and selling.
If you have bought and sold in order to make money, you most likely need a license.
If you have bought and sold cars for personal use e.g. not had more than 2-3 cars at a time, not made significant profit on any of the sales, you are probably ok, but don't count on my advice, I don't know anything.
