Default Smallest font you can read when you print it out?

Basically my teacher said you can put as much info as you want on an index card so I'm trying to put everything to take away the hours of studying.....Anyway, whats the smallest readable font for someone with average vision lol?

i think 4 or 5

why don't you print each size and see which one you can read.

7 or so w/o starining your eyes...

honeslty, those cards are a ploy. they are actually a great study tool if you make sure you UNDERSTAND what you are writing down. itll take you FOREVER if you have to search out everything on that litle card -and you probably will still get the problems wrong

times, font 4 is smallest, clearest. as long as youre not farsighted, you can see size 4 font on your lap (hehe). so if its a legal card, size 4 is easy to read

I've heard this story a while back.

The teacher told the students to pack as much information on a note card and bring it to class. All the students were scrambling and trying their best to get the notes on the cards, but this one guy didnt do anything. His friends asked him, "Why arent you getting ready for the test?" He replied, "Dont worry, i'll take care of it." On test day, All the students filed in with their notes cards full. The guy who didn't do anything comes in with an empty card. He sets it beside him on the floor next to his desk. Several minutes later, a man in a nice suit comes in and stands on top of the note card on the floor. Turns out he was a history teacher and also the brother of the guy that didnt prepare for the test. the teacher allowed it because he did not specify that you couldnt bring a person to stand on the cards itself. he only said that you could pack as much information on them as possible. Moral of this story? I dunno.....but I like cookies.

If you use a special mini-font, that's like the equivalent of 1 pt. or 2 pt., you can put a whole book on a sheet of paper cut to the size of an index card. Then you just need to use a magnifying glass, or borrow someone's glasses/bifocals, and use those for magnifying purposes (not wearing them).

I've heard that story before (a speaker at school); but his version involved a piece of notebook paper, rather than an index card.

In your version of the story, the helper had to stand on his toes on one foot, so that he wasn't also standing on the floor surface.

if someone tried to break that record, I would run up behind him at 74 hours and 59 minutes, and kick him in the back of the knee.

He can only bring 1 index card to class, that doesn't mean he can't print out 100 cards at home to see what fits.
