Default I'm filing a class-action lawsuit against Nissan for false advertising.....

Anyone see the commercial for the Nissan Maxima? This couple is on a date and they are going back to the woman's house and she has a Maxima parked out front, the guy touches the car and he has this flashback that he's driving the car. Here's where the BS comes in. Does Nissan offer a Turbo'd Maxima? Well if you watch the commercial and listen you would think so. The engine is growling, and the distinct sound of a blow-off valve in between shifts Anyone else semi-bothered by this?

yea, have fun losing moron.

They never said turbocharged, you simply assume it from a sound effect on a ******* commercial.

The only way you'd have half a case was if you were actually retarded, and bought the car.

I like the new Maximas. Really nice sedan, it would be even better if they were boosted like the commercial leads you to believe

Like I said, unless you actually bought the car, you have no chance.

The judge will cut your attorney off in the opening statement, and be like, despite the commercial, you KNEW it was not turbocharged.

and you'll be like.. yeah

and he'll throw the case out.

Well I'm not going to stand by and let other not so knowledgeable consumers get duped by this mis-leading type of advertising. It's wrong and I feel I have a responsibility to do the right thing here. I will talk it over w/ my attorneys and see how we can pursue this further. Anyone have a how-to on "cease and desist" orders?

Dude I am signing. I share your complaint and I have another. I have been touching every Nissan I see to try and get that effect in the commercial. Well wouldn't you know it, the last one shocked me really badly! Static electricity! Nowhere in the ad was that warned against! I now have to make weekly visits to the doctor because I've developed an arrhythmia from the jolt!

this is no noble cause. It is very obvious that you are in for something else other than NIssan changing thier advertisement.

A noble cause would be if other manufacturers started to do this and someone actually bought the car....another flaw in this is that the salemen are able to state to you that it is not turbo charged.

Even if the lawsuit went through....Nissan would settle by giving you an electronic BOV.

PS- I got shocked too

Yeah ill sign the petition. Then after we sue Nissan we can sue McDonalds because my big mac was squashed and soggy instead of big and delicious looking like on the commercials.

Advertisers lie all the time.
